Kulunutta, nuhjuista, rempallaan, pimeää.Valaistus oli ihansurkea, makuuhuoneen ”kristallikruunussa” paloi vain yksi lamppu kuudesta. Lakanat ja pyyhkeet epäsiistit ja kuluneet.
