Great location, quiet neighbourhood. Apartment was very clean and nice.
There is no washing machine. The terrace could have been nicer if it was enclosed, this way it is open and there are a lot of sounds from buildings surrounding it.

Lia is an amazing host who will go over and beyond to make your stay comfortable, without imposing or being too present. The apartment is cute, well maintained, well stocked and very clean. We partially worked from home which was very well possible with the good wifi and pleasant atmosphere of the living room. Screen doors keep the mosquitoes away. The fireplace works very well as bbq and is just such an amazing place to sit back and relax. The location is either a quick walk to San Giljan for nice restaurants or into Sliema with the beaches (very rocky, bring snorkels!), good supermarkets, and the water taxi to Valetta (cheap and a fun activity in itself).
The only downside is that the super cute terrace is surrounded by 4 stories of directly adjecent buildings, which makes it an echoy tunnel of sound for all neighbours' noises straight into the bedroom. People live with windows and doors wide open, so when you are a bit sensitive to sounds, it can reduce sleep a bit. Also, the terrace gets no sunshine (there is another balcony with sunshine in the morning), so we couldn't enjoy the autumn sun from the house, that really required us to go out to a beach. But: we travelled in Oct and had quite some rain; those travelling in summer would be happy with the shade!
