Everything was fine.
Reason for the trip was a funeral so was otherwise occupied.

The place was just in the right place the staff were very nice and friendly
It was homely and clean you were well looked after every think you needed for a place to stay

Was very noisy. I think the speaker was just below the room. Lots of ABBA and Olly Murs. Not what you need after a long hike. In the comments below the owner says that they turn the music off at 11 to be considerate - real consideration would be dropping the sound level at 9, thinking about speaker placement or adding sound boards to block sound, rather than turning off at last orders.
I have stayed a lot of places walking Hadrian and for the same price you can get a lot more quality often with a high quality breakfast(not offered here). For me the room does not match the price point - this is more a 60/70 pound room.
Finally, the back door to enter could do with replacing. It’s quite flimsy and lacks security. When I left at 6 in the morning the door was open.
