Railway Sleeper Hostel

Location at the railway station and close to beach was excellent. The hostel was spotless and the kitchen was very well equipped

I stayed for five days, but I never once saw the owner or manager

L'auberge est comme neuf, la literie est très confortable, la douche grande. La cuisine super équipée, petit salon cosy. Franchement rien à dire. Je suis habitué aux auberges de jeunesse et celle-là est grand luxe.

Die Nähe zum Meer. Die Privatsphäre wenn du auf Toilette gehst. Die gut ausgestattete Küche( Kühlschrank, Gefrierschrank und Backofen) Alles ist sauber.

Es gibt keinen Platz (oder nicht gefunden) um Kleidung aufzuhängen nach dem Waschen.

Superb Location. Step out of the train into the hostel. Absolutely spotlessly clean because everything is refurbished (mid 2026). Bunks are wooden so not noisy, have individual plugs and privacy curtain. Good showers. 

The building is very poorly designed, sound is amplified by the long hallway, footsteps and voices resonate through the walls. Very noisy in the morning once people start stirring. The lock boxes under the beds are a joke. They are small, and very light and not fixed down so could be easily stolen. Also they are made of soft pine wood with the screws showing, you can literally remove the screws and open the box in less than one minute using the tip of a sharp knife from the kitchen to turn the screws 🙄 They put the toilet in the same room as the shower. Bad idea. Works if there are only a few guests, but will be a huge problem in the mornings when there are more than a few guests. Be careful! The ceiling at the steps into the TV lounge is exactly the right height to bash your head! And it hurts your neck! Very stupid design 😡
