We waren de eerste nacht van onze vakantie al in Casa Ixum geweest en keken ernaar uit ook onze laatste nacht daar door te brengen. Opnieuw genoten van het lekkerste bed en zachtste beddengoed, het heerlijke eten, de gastvrijheid en lieve personeel en de sfeer. Nadat we het centrum van Cancun hadden verkend, nog lekker gerelaxt met een heerlijk drankje hij het zwembadje. Wij komen graag terug!

The location is fantastic. Very easy drive from the airport and close to all downtown facilities. Great restaurants and cafes in the street la nearby. Staff are really lovely and the food is incredible at dinner. Maybe the best of our trip. The room is lovely and airy. Lots of natural light. A quiet garden space to relax in. A small pool.

The restaurant is closed on Mondays so you will not get breakfast on this day. My suggestion is to book a rate that doesn’t include breakfast as there are plenty of cafes nearby.

I appreciated how friendly and accommodating all of the staff were. I also enjoyed being in downtown Cancun and not in the hotel zone. Lots of different restaurants nearby, and even a little convenience store right next door for simple grocery needs. The room had all the basic necessities.

I requested a quiet room and the sound from the attached restaurant bled into my room, which was a con for me but if you are gone most of the day exploring the city then you might not be affected by it. I was not aware that hot showers were totally dependent on solar, and did not have a hot shower during my stay.
