Windward Mayreau Resort

What a great find. We stayed at Windward for four nights just recently. We were met at the dock by very friendly staff and driven in an electric buggy to the resort. The room was huge, well laid out with good furniture and lighting and a comfortable bed. Instant and powerful hot water in the shower and a Japanese style toilet. Location is perfect, just steps away from the beach and a 10 minute beach walk to Saltwhistle Bay. Pool is warm and well thought out with comfortable loungers. Owner was very friendly and told us all about his hotel, staff were very helpful in arranging speedboat to Union Island to visit Sparrows. Best of all was the restaurant - the staff here were super friendly and the food was some of the best we have tasted in St Vincent and The Grenadines. As we said upon departure we shall be returning next year. Thanks to all at Windward Resort!!!

Wow—that’s all I can say! Alexis is the best host ever. The location can't be beaten, and the same goes for the staff. You get proper 6-star service for a fraction of the price!

The quality of the room (luxury beach bungalow) and furnishings. The helpfulness of the staff particularly the hotel manager Alex. The location whilst on the windy side of the Island was lovely and unspoiled, plus a few minutes walk from the gorgeous Salt Whistle Bay. The hotel blends in with it's natural surroundings really well. The restaurant and food at the hotel were really nice, we enjoyed the natural design and ambience. The chef asked guests how the meal was at the end which was a nice touch. The owner was very friendly and open to questions and feedback.

Some very minor lapses in food orders. Occasionally dishes were missed, incorrect or missing sides with no explanation. Potentially the final transfer was on the expensive side for how long it took, but we appreciate it could be the going rate.

My stay was an exquisitely distinguished and memorable experience—truly worthy of being staged in a high-end film or luxury music-video production. I must also highlight the exceptionally gracious hospitality of Windward investor Mr. Andreas Kisslinger, who hosted a sumptuous birthday celebration for me at their exquisite on-premises restaurant.
