It was beautiful!!! The view and the little barrel Cabin was amazing.
It could have been cleaner… window was dirty there was hair in the bed and in the shower… the cutlery box was full of crumbs.

The uniqueness was so great
I tried getting in touch with the property before going and also during. And no response. That kinda sucked. It was so cold and the heat wasn’t working nor did anyone contact me back to see if I missed something with the heat or what was happening. So communication was not good.

With the very hot weather the fans did not give enough relief to the heat and humidity.
The public picnic table right in the window view was in constant use by 4 men the entire time we were there past 1am and then again in the morning very early from 6am, which made it feel very overlooked and with such a full window view quite intimidating.

Great location, very pleasant view from the big window. Calm location and warm despite the heavy snow storm outside.
Lot of things were not ok. The lack of seriousness is truly unacceptable.
Used hand soap bar in the bathroom
No doormat in the entryway, even if it was super snowy
No dish towel
Only one towel per person
Stains in the shower
Dirty toilet upon arrival
Dirty and dusty dishes
Duvet with a cigarette burn
Smell of wet dog and presence of dog hair in sheets
No storage (not even a simple coat rack)
Cutlery that makes no sense (see picture)
Kettle was dirty (and you need to boil water to use it)
And the icing on the cake: when I sent a message upon arrival to say that the cleaning didn't seem to have been done, I received no reply. However, you do receive a message before and after your departure to remind you that if you leave the accommodation after 11:00 AM, there's a 100 CAD charge. In short, the communication was truly appalling; it's the first time this has ever happened to me. I was relieved to go home and wash all my clothes, which had absorbed the smell of the place.
