Tintipán Glamping

Quiet location, very nicely designed place, good food, friendly staff. You can walk to the next place through the forest and swim there with sand beach.

The internet and power only works during the night and there's almost no mobile coverage. There's no walkable path to other parts of the island, you can arrange a boat to visit so it's not a huge issue.

The staff which was trying its best for us, very attentive. The food was also good although simple. The place and its decoration, a lot of small details which made it cosy. The remoteness of the camping, great for taking a breather.

Couple of things we didn't mind as we knew it came with such a remote camping : - electricity and water (even drinking water) are limited - unlike what's written on booking, there are no real showers but buckets of water - the mattresses are very old and need changing. Sensitive backs be aware. Couple of things we did mind : - communication was poor between management (not on site) and staff actually there : we were asked to pay full price whereas we already paid a 50% deposit (as asked). Then we were asked to pay more than the 50% remaining because they could not find the right exchange rate at the time of the deposit... This was outrageous but we managed to solve it. - the reality and the pictures are completely different : the water is not blue, you cannot even walk in the sea barefoot because of corals, and all the camping site looked way outdated with new constructions compared to the photos. Also we were the only ones so great for relaxing but we were expecting a bit more animation. Probably those pictures are from 20 years ago.

Espectacular el sitio, central para ir a todo y la chef la mejor. Si van no se pierdan comer allí.🤤🤤. El personal te hace sentir como en casa y los espacios son más que suficiente.

La playa, el paisaje, la atención del personal

Aunque es entendíble por la ubicación y acceso a agua dulce, solo se puede uno bañar 1 vez al día por lo que por el calor, agua de mar arena, etc a veces se torna un poco incómodo no poder bañarse más seguido. La playa es hermosa, sin embargo el lugar para entrar al mar el piso tiene mucho coral, por lo que no se debe entrar sin protección en los pies
