Cherry Tree Cottage Bowral, Southern Highlands

This was a well equipped and clean property. The renovation was excellent with excellent finishes. The outdoor areas were lovely too. In terms of location it was within walking distance of the centre but not in the centre. It was also a quiet location.

The only issue I had was with the hilding deposit of $500. It showed up in my bank account as a withdrawal over and above the prepaid fee for the entire stay and beyond. I was informed that it was a bank freeze and it took a few days after we left the property to be unfrozen. Hotels have access to a debit card but set this up with a $1 deposit. This aspect of the booking arrangements did not feel right. There must be a better way to protect the owners from theft or property damage.

Location Cleanliness

Loved this house from the minute we walked in. Gorgeous, cosy and very clean. Loved all the little touches like the firepit out the back. Close to town. Loved everything.

The property was very comfortable and cosy. Loved staying there. 👍🏻

To be picky, if I stayed there again I would need to bring my own pillows. The supplied pillows were too soft for me. Otherwise it was perfect.
