Central Tilba Overnight Retreat ! King Bed, Ensuite, Pet-Friendly

The property was clean. The bed was large and really comfortable. The garden was lush and tidy. The view of rolling hills was serene.

The garden suite is tiny, recommend booking the entire house when travelling with dogs. The garden fencing is not too secure for medium sized dogs like husky’s - but good for pets with recall.

Private, peaceful location but close to everything and a perfect stay with my dog. A warm welcome and I felt like I was a special guest. John, my host, gave me great ideas on places to explore and enjoy with my dog and Helena gave me some local history and the best place to go for oysters and seafood! The cabin and surrounding gardens had everything I could possibly need and more for my 4 nights stay including the company of some farm animals and many beautiful birds feeding in the trees covered in flowers in front of my verandah. The quiet and peacefulness, especially in the evening before the sun set, was very special.

I wish we didn’t have to leave such a beautiful place and go back to the real world. We managed another visit to Mystery Bay on the way home and a long walk on the beach. Off leash until the end of October -and only one other dog in sight! Thanks for the heads up, John.
