The Tribe, Panchgani Mahableshwar

There’s something quietly special about The Tribe in Panchgani. Surrounded by mountains, with the river in sight, it’s serene without being boring. The property itself is charmingly offbeat with cottages on stilts, two German shepherds standing guard, two horses grazing, and the temptation of a waterfall trek close by. Heads up, though: there’s a short but steep climb from the parking to reach the property, so maybe leave grandma at home. Aside from that, this is as peaceful as getaways get. Big thanks to the staff for being so helpful and the chef for cooking up solid meals. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to unplug without feeling stranded.

what a location and view. Everything is prepared fresh. and amazing taste. they take all request if it is available. the property has amazing view of Krishna River. the price of food is also reasonable.

we went during summer. although it was raining a bit. but we felt the need of AC IN AFTERNOON. otherwise not required

Location was good. I have advised them for a regular inspection of electrical wires and water pipelines so that what we faced others should not.

Although we needed only two rooms but booking did not proceed for this property and we had to book for 3 rooms. One room was totally untouched and we paid heavily for that. Unfortunate.
