Very cosy log cabin by a lake
Very cosy log cabin by a lake. Well equipped. Good shower. Comfy beds. Heating worked well as did the TV and wi-fi. Kitchen was fine. Nice big parking space.. Nice welcome message from hostess. Overall very nice stay.
The only minor thing was locating the log cabin which can be tricky ( particularly in the dark!). Thankfully the reception was open. During the day this wouldn't be an issue.

Great lodge in great location
Lovely lodge. Great location. Comfy beds. Lovely hot shower. Kate checked in with us a few days in which was nice!
Just a few minor issues eg broken blinds, loose toilet seat, pan with no heat protection on handle, difficult to see key lock numbers in dark, slightly temperamental bed side lamps, it would have been much cheaper to book a regular lodge (I never thought to check that at the time).

Homely lodge in a great location
Lovely quiet setting overlooking a fishing lake. Great walks from the doorstep. Lodge extremely comfortable and homely with everything we needed. Very comfy beds. Kate sent lots of useful information before our stay and was extremely helpful. Look forward to returning!

Great stay for the family, by the lake
We loved this lodge when we came in May so we came back for the August bank holiday. Its right by the lake which is full of fish. Great fishing with a rod or just a landing net as they get so close. Everything you need in the lodge itself. Really comfy beds.
its a personal preference whether you want to be close to the shop/pool/restaurant or near the lake. We chose the lake which is a 10 minute walk from the amenities but that may be too far for others.
