The lodge was very clean inside, the location was pretty good and the park had sufficient facilities for our short stay.
The outside of the lodge needs some attention, the decking area and furniture needs cleaning and updating and it feels overlooked by the large lodge in front. The water company lorries were a constant distraction, especially as our windows were open due to the warm weather.It was also disappointing the woodland walk was closed. However we do understand that this should be a short-term issue and out of the control of the owner.
