Abadia Samitier

Firstly the hosts were exceptional and couldn't do enough for us - especially providing unlimited cold water which was greatly appreciated in the heat. The rooms are lovely, with a seating room, bedroom and ensuite and are decorated with lots of interesting pieces. We stayed for 2 nights and booked breakfast and dinner. The food was superb and there was a good variety to choose from. We sat outside for all of our meals and the views were exceptional. The location is quite remote but we were looking for peace and quiet after a hectic few days touring round cities. There is a nice walk directly from the hotel up to the castle which I would recommend for the views. We aldo drove to the local town, about 15mins away, for lunch and to visit its old town which was nice

Wat een FANTASTISCHE locatie is dit! Zeer authentiek, in een afgelegen dorpje met heerlijk ontbijt, prachtig uitzicht en een mooi ingerichte kamer in stijl. Met een eigen moestuin bereidt Alain in de keuken de lekkerste avondmaaltijden👌🏻. Stephanie en Alain zijn geweldige eigenaren! Ze geven tips van de omgeving, vers water op de kamer en doen er alles aan om je het echte vakantiegevoel te geven. Wat een toppers!

Le bonheur pour qui aime faire une pause dans un environnement magnifique tout en se régalant les papilles. Stéphanie et Alain sont des hôtes attentionnés, tout était parfait !

We really enjoyed the stay in this ancient small abbey. The surroundings are beautiful , nice walks and lovely views. Stephanie is a lovely host with great eye for detail. . The food is excellent as Alain is a great cook!
