The apartment is in a great location. It overlooks Dubai Hills Park, and lies mid way between Downtown Dubai and the Marina, so it is easy to visit all the main tourist sites by taxi (which are very reasonably priced - just download the Careem app once you arrive). Onsite facilities include a Gym and outside swimming pool, and there are a few shops, bars and restaurants within a short walking distance. The apartment also comes with its own underground parking space if needed, and for those who like to shop the Dubai Hills Mall is just 1.5km away (so walkable, or a short taxi ride / drive). Communication from the host was very good from the time of booking through to our arrival and during our stay. We were met by a rep at the reception who arranged our check in, showed us to the appartment and explained its facilities and house rules. In short, this is a great apartment, especially if, like us, you are visiting to see the sights, tourist attractions and experience all Dubai has to offer.

Whilst the apartment is only a 1 bed (with a double bed) it does have a sofa that can he converted into a double bed if there are more than two of you. However, if you are planning to use the sofa bed for members of your party, make sure you notify the hosts in advance of your visit (at least 24 hours beforehand) as, whilst a quilt and pillows are left in the wardrobe, no sheets, quilt covers or pillow cases are left there as standard. We weren't aware of this and, although we had notified the host we were a party of three adults, no sheets etc were initially provided. Also, be aware that no pool or beach towels are provided so you will need to either bring your own, or buy them from a Mall when you arrive. Unlike other properties we have stayed in around the world, there is no information book provided by the host with useful tips and recommendations, which would have been helpful. Finally, no greeting pack of essential items like milk, coffee etc is provided as standard. I'm not sure if you can request this in advance from.the host, but otherwise you can either go over the road to the Carrrefour or order groceries for immediate delivery through the Careem app.
