La Filanda sul mare

The house is beautiful and newly renovated with a lot of taste.. it’s in a quiet alley 1 minute from a very nice beach. The room is furnished with care and love, you can feel that, all the furniture, kitchen appliances doors, floor, bathroom etc. is of a super high quality, like you would do in your own home. Pietro is extremely nice and helpful, he immediately responded to any question we had. The mattress is beyond comfortable (for me personally) I had the best sleep in the past months there. The location is close enough to Taormina and other touristic attractions but far enough for you to feel the local Sicilian vibe.

The apartment is freshly renovated. Very beautiful and comfortable. Thanks to the very thick walls we even don’t use the air conditioner in June :) Each of two bedrooms has private bathrooms. Rooms are very big and comfortable. Contact and hospitality from the owners are beyond excellent. I really recommend to stay in La Filanda. It is just near the beach and grocery shop. Great spot to have a car and explore the area.

Trotz Verspätung wurde auf uns gewartet, alles super lieb erklärt und es stand Kaffee und Wasser bereit.

Con i ragazzi della mia società sportiva abbiamo soggiornato per tre notti presso la Filanda sul mare: abbiamo trovato l’appartamento molto ben curato, pulito e fornito di molta attrezzatura da cucina. Abbiamo apprezzato anche la disponibilità degli ombrelloni messi a disposizione degli ospiti al piano terra che, seppur abbiamo utilizzato solo per un’ora, l’abbiamo trovata una carineria da non sottovalutare. La gentilezza, ed accortezza di Giulia ed il suo papà Pietro ci hanno fatti sentire al sicuro e coccolati. Pietro si è rivelato un ottimo padrone di casa disponibile, attento e al tempo stesso non invadente. La zona è molto tranquilla ed un buon compromesso per chi cerca un posto comodo ma al tempo stesso fuori dal caos. Nei dintorni ci sono servizi di ogni genere: dai supermercati, alla farmacia, ai fruttivendoli, macelleria, lavanderia, ristoranti e ferramenta (tutto raggiungibile comodamente a piedi). Ampia disponibilità di parcheggio. A due passi dal mare di Roccalumera: dove abbiamo potuto godere di un’acqua cristallina e poco turismo.
