Zentral am Fluss #2

The apartment is not located close to the centre of Bad Ischl, but this was not a problem as the area was quiet with a lovely view to the mountains and the river right in front of the building. From the apartment you can do a short hike to a waterfall that is just 15-20 min from the apartment which was also great. The apartment was overall clean, but there were some downsides to it.

The bedroom did not have a curtain, technically there was a curtain before but it was broken and left next to the sofa. So you wake up when it is already light outside cause there is no way to block the light coming in. The kitchen doesn't have a fridge so it is impossible to store any food or ingredients that would need cooling if you plan to cook breakfast or dinner. The oven is also almost impossible to use as it does not have a rack nor a tray that you can use. When we arrived, there was no more soap in the bathroom. I would not expect an apartment to offer you shower gel, but at least soap so you can wash your hands. We did contact the owner about the issues that we experienced in the apartment but instead of receiving a solution we just got a message saying that they are more than happy to provide any support, which was strange as we indicated in our last message the problems we encountered. Oh and one more thing, the window in the bathroom is not covered with a foil to blur it out, so the neighbors who live in the house behind can technically see you, potentially, naked, when you come out of the shower. As written above, generally the apartment was ok, but these issues should be known to those interested in booking the apartment before.
