The negative reviews for this property are ridiculous. This house is in a great location with insane views. The bedding was comfortable and warm even though there was no heater in the bedroom. The fire and spa were incredible. If you can’t get up that driveway or find the address in google maps as told, you shouldn’t have a licence. The doors upstairs were locked but that is in no way “half the house” and everything that was advertised was provided. The wifi was fine also. So thank you, as we had a great girls trip. I hope the next guest enjoys our fun paintings that we left behind 😅

I do agree that some items in the kitchen are outdated or unclean and do require replacing. Some new kitchen sponges and enough bin bags would’ve been good too.

I don't usually leave negative reviews, but even a few months later I'm still disappointed by our stay, so I felt I should share our experience. I booked this property as a special treat to end our road trip and to relax before the drive home with our two young boys. The main reasons I chose this accommodation was because it was advertised with a spa pool overlooking the lake and a beautiful outdoor area. Our boys were fizzing about having a spa "under the stars" they talked about it for the entire road trip. When we arrived, we went looking for the spa only to find it completely empty. There was no warning before our stay, no email, no message, and nothing on the listing to indicate the spa would be unavailable. I even went back through the listing afterwards with a fine-tooth comb to see if there was a seasonal disclaimer, but there wasn't. The outdoor area also didn't resemble the photos. There was no sunshade up, poor outdoor seating, and overall, it looked neglected. I couldn't believe we had paid nearly $1,000 for one night as a special family treat, only to be so incredibly let down. The kitchen was also poorly equipped. There was very little available to prepare dinner with, and the utensils and cookware that were there didn't feel clean. The house itself is lovely, but in our opinion, it isn't worth the price charged, especially when key advertised features aren't available. To be fair, there were a couple of positives. The owner allowed us to check in a little earlier as we arrived sooner than expected nd they had turned the heat pump on before we arrived, which we appreciated because the house was extremely cold. One other thing worth mentioning is that the entire property is non-smoking. My husband smokes and we didn't realise this meant he couldn't even smoke outside after the Kids had gone to bed. Overall, we left feeling very disappointed.
