Downtown Luxury 2BR Penthouse Loft - Sleeps 8-9

Excellent location by the river in downtown. Unit was spacious and comfortable and the host was very responsive and accommodating. Check in and check out were a breeze and there were no long lists of checkout chores which we appreciated. They were able to offer us late check out too!

They only had 2 keys/fobs and we were 5 guests. Fortunately there was a lock box to leave a key in, however it did make keeping track of the 2 keys over the 3 days a bit challenging. Minor notes: There are pull out couches but no real blankets that we found for those staying on them (just throws) and there could have been more towels (bath and kitchen especially). The oven took a very long time to preheat and bake and seems like it could be updated. But that didn’t ruin our experience at all and is just a minor detail. Overall the stay was excellent.

The location is the reason to book this place - walking distance to everything Milwaukee has to offer, and easy access to public transit including the tram. The historic building (which houses the Hitoric Milwaukee, Inc. retail store and Grain Exchange event center) is great to explore1

The unit is nice - but when it is advertised as a "Luxury" unit, then I expect something to be luxurious. Nothing was, so that was a bit disappointing. The unit is in need of some focused maintenance. I sent a list of work that needs to be done to the property management company.

Great apartment and building. Close to 3rd ward and comfortable feel.
