Soléi Old Town

Amazing place to stay people were so accomodating Ahmed and Mr Abdallah were so lovely and accomodating the entire trip with organised tours transport and beautiful hospitality and breakfasts you won’t regret staying at this lovely place

Excellent location (just behind Main Street but super quiet) and the staff were super friendly. Loved the tastefully designed shali houses. And the bed was very comfortable. Appreciated them giving us complimentary breakfast too!

A little small in size. Would be very convenient if there was a mini fridge and kettle (but prices for drinks are cheap so not such a big deal)

Siwa is an absolute gem that every traveler ought to visit, blessed with one-of-a-kind landscapes and warm, genuine locals. My stay at Solei left me with unforgettable memories. The hosts graciously let us check in early and extend our checkout time—such a lifesaver for us after an exhausting overnight bus ride. The inn boasts an unbeatable location, surrounded by an array of restaurants and shops. There’s a delicious ice cream shop right out front, and it’s just a short stroll to the Siwa bus ticket office, making travel bookings effortless. Nestled at the foot of the ancient Shali Fortress, the property itself brims with distinctive charm. The uniquely decorated rooms are full of character, and the air conditioning runs perfectly cool. Mornings here were made complete with an incredibly generous breakfast spread: fresh fruits, crisp vegetables, creamy yogurt, tender meats, fluffy scrambled eggs and cold-pressed fresh juice. This whole trip was an irreplaceable experience, and I’d urge everyone to come and discover Siwa for themselves.

everthing is ok

The breakfast was very good but you were sitting next to a building site with drilling going on. There was no really seating area

The staff were very friendly and helpful however the room was very very small. It was very dark with no windows of all. The bathroom floor was concrete and grimy and dirty. Bed was hard and the pillows even harder. They were constructing rooms next door so there was a lots of banging and drilling going on. There was no closets or anywhere to hang anything. Even the bathroom I was just to get good and some string. Not acceptable for the price. I would not recommend staying here again
