La Funambola B&B è un posto davvero speciale: tutto è curato nei minimi dettagli, gli ambienti sono bellissimi, pulitissimi e accoglienti, e si respira fin da subito un’atmosfera calda e familiare. Un ringraziamento speciale a Daniela e a suo marito, due persone davvero straordinarie: gentilissimi, disponibili, premurosi e capaci di farti sentire immediatamente a casa. La loro accoglienza, la loro cortesia e l’attenzione verso gli ospiti sono davvero qualcosa di raro. È difficile trovare una struttura in cui tutto sia semplicemente perfetto: dalla pulizia alla cura degli ambienti, dall’atmosfera alla disponibilità dei proprietari. Ogni dettaglio trasmette passione e amore per quello che fanno. Un’esperienza superlativa sotto ogni punto di vista, che consiglio con tutto il cuore a chiunque cerchi un posto speciale, accogliente e curato dove soggiornare. It is difficult to put into words the beauty of this little piece of tuscan paradise. So I will do my best do it justice with a few words and let the pictures speak for themselves. To say we loved our stay with Gianpaolo and Daniela is an understatement. We had already been traveling in Italy and stayed in over 10 places and this one definitely stole our hearts. If you’re still undecided and reading this, I hope this helps you make your decision. From the hosts’ humble, welcoming, and warm-hearted hospitality, to the heavenly breakfasts Daniela prepares with homegrown and homemade ingredients, and the immaculate cleanliness of everything despite being in the tuscan countryside, every detail made our stay truly unforgettable. It is probably one of the most delicious breakfasts we have had in our lives with homemade jams, delicious local cheeses, silky cappuccinos served in beautiful fine china, organic juice, etc.. And if that wasn’t enough be prepared for the exquisite freshly baked cakes of Daniela. And finally to sum it up: - Facilities 10 out of 10 ( pristine clean, hot water, amazing bathroom, AC, small fridge for cold drinks, even a hot tub in the garden!!) - Communication 10 out of 10 (Gianpaolo greeted us before our arrival asking us if we had any dietary restrictions or preferences ❤️) - Breakfast impossible to even score - Environment and surroundings 10 out of 10 ( butterflies flying over lavender blossoms, cute cats having siestas on wooden barrels and a vegetable garden that will reset your nervous system) - Hospitality 10 out of 10 ( prepare to feel right at home and to be treated with true kindness) - Location 10 out of 10 ( very close to Florence and to other beautiful little tuscan towns) A warm thank you goes to Daniela and Gianpaolo. We will definitely be returning! And we will make sure to bring dear friends the next time to share the magic of this place! This is by no means something negative but just something worth mentioning to be prepared. The house is located in a small hill, so there is a short dirt road that you have to drive through in order to get there. As a person who is nervous about dirt roads, Gianpaolo received us and even offered me several parking options. I was a bit nervous the first time, and as soon as I settled and knew how kind Gianpaolo and Daniela were, this even became fun and the obvious price for the beauty of this place. My advice is to arrive hopefully during the day for the first time.
