Overall, the house is nice and modern. It is a quick walk to the beach and the private beach area is nice. It’s located in a central part of Destin that is easy to get places quickly. The photos are similar to the listing. As far as cleanliness, rooms were clean. It was perfect for our small group of adults only. I don’t think that 16 people would fit in this home comfortably (as the listing states) especially since upstairs there are only 2 bathrooms between 5 bedrooms and 3 rooms have to share one smaller bathroom. There are not bikes or a golf cart in the garage as shown in photos. We also felt that for a house selling for 1.8 million, you could provide more than a few essentials like trash bags or laundry pods (especially if you want us to take out the trash). Finally, when we arrived, the front door wasn’t locked, and the front door wasn’t easily locked throughout our stay, which made us feel a little concerned for safety. Tip: Bring your own beach chairs, umbrellas, and cooler. There are some in the garage but they are old and rusty or broken. There is an Alvin’s and Wal-Mart close by to grab these items.

Kitchen/house had many necessary tools, but we were missing some essential items like a cork screw and a vacuum. Also, there were lots of TVs but remotes either didn’t work or were missing batteries. There were stains on the bedding too. That was disappointing. The house is also being sold so when informing the owner about wasp nests on the roof of the patio or asking how to turn outdoor speakers on no response was given. Good location and newer home.
