About this house rental
Welcome home to Alpine Glow Ski Cabin, located near Whitefish Mountain Resort! This home has the luxurious mountain cabin feeling you want when visiting Montana, with exposed wood beams, vaulted ceilings, cozy fireplaces, a sauna, a hot tub, and mountain views like no other. Within proximity to some of the world's best attractions, you're bound to make family memories here to last a lifetime.
The main level features an open-concept floor plan with a beautiful kitchen, dining, and living room. The kitchen has all stainless steel appliances and lots of counter space for cooking. The dining room features a big table with seating for eight people and access to the back deck. The living room has ample seating to cozy up by the fireplace and watch a movie or play a board game. Off of the kitchen is the entrance into the home with access to the laundry room, a full-sized bathroom, and one bedroom. The bedroom features a queen-sized bed and lots of space to wind down after an adventurous day.
The upper level is split into two sections. To the left of the stairs is a cozy nook to sit and enjoy the view, along with a desk space to work if you need to. There is also access to an outdoor balcony. To the right of the stairs is the primary bedroom with a king-sized bed, vaulted ceilings, lots of natural light, and a fireplace to keep you warm during the winter months. There is also a bathroom on this level with a standing shower and a separate bathtub.
Next, we'll head on down to the lower level of the house, which is the perfect space if you're bringing the children! There is a separate living space with a nice entertainment center to watch movies and a good-sized table with seating for eight people. You will also have access to a third bedroom with two twin bunkbeds and a bathroom with a standing shower and an exciting feature: a sauna! You also have access to the garage and a separate ski storage area to store your equipment during your stay.
In the winter, downhill skiing at Whitefish Mountain Resort provides 3,000+ skiable acres, 14 lifts with terrain for all skill levels, and stunning views. The resort was recently ranked #3 in the West by Ski Magazine readers! There are plenty of other winter activities from snowmobiling, cross country skiing, ice fishing, hiking, snowshoeing and more. Of course, you'll also want to explore downtown Whitefish eateries and galleries, and don't miss Winter Carnival with a parade and skijoring!
In the summer, enjoy all the water-sports imaginable at Whitefish Lake, or any of the 100+ lakes & rivers within 100 miles, including Flathead Lake, the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi in the lower 48! Whitefish Mountain Resort also provides endless activities such as mountain biking, hiking, zip-lining, ropes courses, alpine slides, and scenic chair or gondola rides (with Glacier National Park views). Speaking of Glacier National Park, it's only 45 minutes away from Whitefish! Don't miss the breathtaking Going-To-The-Sun road, Lake McDonald, and 70+day hikes! You'll also want to take advantage of the Whitefish Trail system with 43 miles of hiking & biking trails, as well as great restaurants, art galleries, breweries, distilleries, a train museum, golf courses and local events such as Huckleberry Days, farmer's markets, rodeos and Under the Big Sky music festival!
