Enjoy your stay in our cozy vacation apartment in Detmold’s Südstadt neighborhood, in the Berlebeck district. With an area of approximately 117 square meters, the apartment can accommodate two to a maximum of five people.
Berlebeck, located south of Detmold, is about five kilometers from the city center and is easily accessible via bus line 701. The bus stop is just a five-minute walk away. From the vacation apartment, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Teutoburg Forest, including the Wallberg and other hills. The Hermannsweg trail and the R1 long-distance bike route run right through the town.
Worth seeing are the Adlerwarte, Germany’s largest center for birds of prey, and the 12th-century Falkenburg ruins. The Wächterhof, dating from 1488, and the paper mill from 1607 are additional historical highlights. Berlebeck is also a climatic health resort and is known for the Berlebeck springs, which supply Detmold’s drinking water.

“Haus Wallberg” offers modern amenities. The renovated bathroom features a floor-level walk-in shower with a “Raindance” function, underfloor heating, and a plug-in radio. The living room features a cozy seating area, a TV, a stereo system, and free Wi-Fi.
The master bedroom has a 2 x 2-meter upholstered bed that can be converted into twin beds. The second bedroom features two single beds, a sleeper sofa, and another TV. A crib is available upon request.
The fully equipped kitchen has direct access to the patio, which is furnished with patio furniture and a grill. The dining room seats six people and features a coffee and tea bar.
The approximately 30-square-meter balcony is sunny and equipped with patio furniture, lounge chairs, and a grill—ideal for relaxing outdoors.
On-site fees: The remaining balance is due via bank transfer or in cash on site.Check-in is available from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Check-out is by 10:00 a.m. Other check-in and check-out times are possible upon request.
