Multiple decks, both covered and uncovered, offer ample seating to enjoy the serene sights and sounds of the river under the shade of ancient cypress and pecan trees.

Situated along timeless River Road at the Ponderosa crossing, this bungalow is located along a quiet stretch of river that is ideal for kayaking, tubing and fishing, yet is only a short 8-minute drive to the Whitewater Amphitheater and the bustling "Horseshoe" section of the Guadalupe River.” A short drive away, guests can explore Canyon Lake, Canyon Dam, and historic Gruene for shopping and live music. Little Ponderosa Outfitters, just steps away, provides easy access to tube rentals for endless river fun.

Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the prime location of this home, surrounded by opportunities for trout fishing, tubing, kayaking, and more. This stretch of river benefits from annual trout stocking by not only Trout Unlimited but also Texas Parks & Wildlife, and the trout fishing is a great attraction from November through May each year. This home features a long driveway, helpful if you plan to trailer in your raft or kayak. The property features essential amenities such as central AC, a washer/dryer, a gas grill, and a riverside deck for relaxation and entertainment. With a maximum occupancy of 8 guests and 4 vehicles, this riverside retreat ensures a peaceful and memorable stay for families and friends alike.


Things to know
Due to the Hill Country location of our rentals, you may encounter situations with wildlife/pests. Please be aware of your surroundings, take caution while driving at night and supervise your children at all times while outdoors. In addition, all properties do utilize pest control maintenance on a regular basis, BUT this does not guarantee pests/bugs/critters will not be visible.
Please note: Water balloons are not allowed at the property.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.

Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. This technology is privacy compliant, and only monitors the presence of decibels and devices-not any personal conversation or information. Thank you for supporting our efforts to be good neighbors!

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
