It houses the unique vaulted sacristy and preserved remains of the former Cordeliers convent from the fifteenth century. With 5 bedrooms, including 3 master suites, a heated salt water swimming pool and a terrace offering a view of the bell tower, enjoy a haven of peace in the heart of the city, a stone's throw from antique dealers, shops and restaurants.

Located in the heart of the historic city, this spacious house is an integral part of the former Cordeliers convent dating from the fifteenth century.
It houses the only sacristy of the convent, the covering of which takes the form of a double groin vault supported by three transverse arches, as well as a dressed stone arcade that opened onto the nave. This house has been meticulously restored to preserve its authentic character while offering modern comforts, careful decoration and all the necessary equipment.
The place is a real haven of peace and yet, a few steps away, you will find the market, shops, restaurants, antique dealers, cinema and museums, you will have everything at your fingertips.
With a capacity of 10 people, the house is composed as follows:
- Private spaces -
3 master suites: PGJyPg�PGJyPg
• Vaulted bedroom (former sacristy) in R+1: king size bed (180x200), bathroom open to the bedroom with a walk-in shower, a bathtub and a sink, as well as a separate and private toilet.
• Arche bedroom (decorated by a dressed stone archway) in R+1: king size bed (180x200), bathroom adjoining the bedroom with a walk-in shower, a washbasin and a toilet.
• Column bedroom (decorated by the ashlar pillars of the arcade) on the first floor: king size bed (180x200), bathroom adjoining the bedroom with an Italian shower, a washbasin and a toilet.
2 bedrooms:
• Carillon room in R+1: 2 single beds (90x200)
• Bell tower room in R+1: 2 single beds (90x200)
Its rooms are adjoining a bathroom with a shower, a toilet, a washbasin and a balcony.
- Common areas -
• A large living room,
• A bright dining area in front of a large bay window overlooking the pool,
• A modern equipped kitchen (multifunction oven, microwave oven, induction hob, extractor, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, Nespresso, kettle, toaster, crockery, kitchen equipment...)
• A laundry room (washing machine, hand vacuum, drying rack, ironing board and iron),
• A common and separate toilet,
• A reading area overlooking the terrace and the church tower.
- Outdoor spaces -
An outdoor courtyard on the first floor without vis-à-vis:
• a 3x5m heated swimming pool, on request, from April 1st to October 30th, with a salt treatment for irritation-free and odorless swimming, secured by an alarm,
• an old stone fountain,
• an outdoor shower,
• a dining area for up to 10 people,
• a plancha,
• deckchairs and deckchairs at your disposal.
An R+1 terrace overlooking the church tower allowing you to relax in the sun on the deckchairs and deckchairs provided.
- Facilities -
• Linen provided: sheets, towels and dish towels. Pool towels are not provided.
(Important: It is forbidden to use towels for the pool, in which case you will be charged for laundry in addition to the cleaning fees mentioned on the platform).
• Fiber Internet, Wifi in all rooms and outdoor antenna,
• Baby equipment available on request: baby bath, changing table, high chair, travel cot.
The house is located in the heart of the city center.
We offer the private garage of the house under certain conditions and on request.
City parking lots:
A 150 m walk from the house, parking can be done in 3 public parking lots: Portalet, Escargot and Mourna (free from 7 pm to 8:00 am).
500 m walk from the house, parking can be done in the free public parking lot of the Stadium.
You will find other public parking lots in the city or free spaces on the avenues outside the downtown (for example Avenue Léon Reboul 300 m walk).

Overall our experience was excellent. The host was communicative and helpful with the check in. The property was spotless and the beds were wonderful. Everything was perfect and the location couldn’t have been better. This home is right off the square and near everything. The only issue we had was accessibility of the garage. Parking is included but the fit off the small alleyway was tight and a larger car made it unusable for us. Also the streets can be closed and access is limited but otherwise incredible home. I would highly recommend it for your stay

These pictures do not lie. This is a place one could live full time, and very happily. The main living and dining areas are large and well furnished - looking out to the stunning, private pool. We cooked indoors and on the patio, with a well equipped kitchen and BBQ set. Every bedroom felt private, set apart from the others, and very quiet.Literally next door is the best bakery in this little town, and being inside the centre ville, we could walk to any of the little cafes and shops that make this town so special. Having our own garage was a big bonus, though of course one must mind the timing of street closures that make the weekly market possible. This is normal in any of these historic villages and was expected. The nearby public parking was only an extra two or three minute walk from our door, useful on market days.We have stayed in many VRBO rentals but never one so much like a fine home. I'd come back without hesitation. Simply wonderful.

We spent 8 nights at this property and have stayed L'Isle many times over the years. This property was probably the best overall! You can not find a better location! Literally Centre Ville, walk to all the places in the village! Good parking very close by, and even a garage if you are willing to navigate the challenging village streets!Newly renovated and in pristine condition. Beautiful and tastefully restored historic building with very large common areas and bedrooms for family or group visits. This is one of the ONLY properties INSIDE the village that has a heated pool and it's in a lovely, private courtyard!The property manager was wonderful, very accomodating, attentive to our needs and very communicative. When there was a minor issue, the owner came to the property immediately to remedy!We will definitely come back to the Sacristie!À la prochaine. Merci beaucoup !
