Studio Close to Beach, Boston, Logan Airport & Train Station

Clean, functional, and amazing communication

Host was amazing and very communicative. We did not know that this area was the basement of a house, but it was totally fine. Host was respectful of our quiet hours as well as we were his! We enjoyed the area we stayed in!! Would rebook!

The apartment was described accurately and was very clean. The host was very responsive to any questions that we had. The foosball table was a fun added bonus. I found the bed very comfortable and the kitchen had everything you could need if you were planning to cook at home.The only downside is that it is downstairs from the main house so you could hear footsteps above you, which was not a very big deal for us since we did not spend much time in the apartment during the day.

It was an affordable place to sleep while I was in the city, which was much appreciated, but I wouldn't likely stay again. The cat smell is very prominent. There were 3 air fresheners running (auto-mist types) to mask the scent, but I think that only made it worse. Also, the door off the bathroom (into unfinished space), the door off the main room of the studio (another two-panel slide door), and the door at the top of the stairs (connecting directly to the home upstairs) felt very precarious to me as a solo female traveler. I would strongly suggest the hosts consider install solid locked (from studio side!) doors to improve sense of security and reconsider the cat scent issue.
