Sweet Apple Garden

Nice place in a quiet residential location. Room has all you need and there was always someone around if you needed anything. Varied communal breakfast each morning. There are places to sit outside of your room to mix with other people. Nice friendly hosts.

Location is far from city centre which means getting taxis. This becomes expensive for a solo traveller. No cheap restaurants nearby. 9am breakfast is a bit late for people wanting to get out early although on my last morning I requested it at 8 and it was provided

Lekker ontbijt.

Quiet Environment

Very strange host, you feel like your visiting your weird grandma who is constanlty giving you disapointed looks. Pretty unflexible We left a few days earlier, because it was kind of depressing to stay The staircase is not suitable for anyone aged 30+ The room is a time travel to the 1970s, but clean. The furniture is big but not practical. You have to ask the host for toilet paper roll by roll - if you need it after 11pm or before 9am - good look. The apple Garden is not green at all, the nice Photos that made us go there are from a place that we did not manage to find. If you are strong and male you might be asked to carry around heavy stuff You cannot reach the place other than by Taxi which takes around half an hour to the City The river is near but private property, so you have to sneak in there, just to find out that it's a concrete Channel not a river. Breakfast is ok, but repetetive. Breakfast is at 9. Dont be late.
