Lovely simple stay close to the nature

the staff didn’t speak any English but they were all SO sweet and friendly . Truly trying their best to communicate with us. The accommodation was very small and cozy. Quite outdated on the inside. The biggest downside was the heating. We tried to turn it on but didn’t work and the little apartment was extremely cold at night , especially the floors. For the rest everything was truly lovely and even the little cafe in the same structure was very good! If you come for the weekend make sure you bring some food with you cause everything closes very early and you’ll stay hungry!!

Unreliable hotel

The hotel was closed at 17:45, dark, no lights, no life. And a stray dog nearby. Not picking up the phone. We could not get in and spend the night which we had paid for in advance. This is after a long car trip with our two year old son. We were so lucky to find another hotel nearby!

Very good

Location is very good, ~30 meters from the Ruhrsee. The house is also eh, quaint. Not my taste, but I appreciate it being different. And it's very roomy.

House wasn't clean, dusty and several cobwebs. Also at checkout there was no-one to collect the keys, so I left them on the kitchen table, which I apparently wasn't supposed to do? Note that dining options in the village are extremely limited after 19:30 because almost everything closes at 20:00.

The most disappointing experience

The host was the worst. She was really unfriendly and aggressive from day 1. She was not helping with any of our problems and apparently has problems with everyone. We wish we had read the recent reviews. When we wanted to make our own gas grill in the backyard she rejected (not nicely) and when we were offered by the neighbors to use their place for the grill (kindest people) she was super annoyed and even filmed us in a different property without our permission. Later she rudely questioned us about where we parked, if we paid the neighbor any money and so on. The house was also a disappointment. The upper floor is basically the attic and you can barely stand, and it becomes a furnace at night. We had a very old sponge in the kitchen and almost no cleaning detergent. The most pitiful thing is that when we leave they treated us like we were the unfriendly repelling ones and had the audacity to tell us not to come there again. You can see how they treat their guests in their answers to other bad reviews as well. I wish the others dont make the same mistake and book this place just by looking at its location.

Personne n'était présent à notre arrivée, alors que nous avions dû l'annoncer. Nous semblions arriver dans un village fantôme... Il a fallu appelé un numéro de téléphone. Lorsque j'ai croisé la gérante le lendemain, elle m'a saluée furtivement sans se préoccuper de quoi que ce soit. La réalité de l'appartement ne correspondait pas aux photos du site. Nous pensions louer un logement plus "up to date", plus grand, plus récent. Et avec du chauffage ! Il faisait glacial. Quand j'ai tenté de m'exprimé dans une langue qui n'est pas la mienne, quand on m'a réclamé un montant pour mon chien au moment du check out, montant qui n'avait pas été annoncé à la réservation , mais une fois que l'annulation n'était plus possible, par mail, les deux dames sont devenus fortement désagréables en haussant le ton et en accélérant le débit. Je leur ai demandé de parler plus lentement, ce qu'elles ont refusé. La discussion s'est envenimé. J'ai payé ce qu'elles me réclamaient, et suis partie, écœurée de leur comportement mais contente d'avoir respecté, quant à moi, mes engagements en terme de respect des lieux, de propreté, de paiement, mais jamais plus je n'y retournerai!

Mooi hotel voor een 3 tal dagen.

De ligging + het is een charmant hotel. De eigenaars hebben een Duitse no-nonsens vriendelijkheid.

Behoorlijk verouderd. Het hoofdbed was comfortabel, het extra bed was een ramp. De kamers zijn laag qua hoogte maar is geen ramp.

Het terrasje is leuk, douche was prima. Aardige eigenaren. Heerlijk geslapen het is hier echt volstrekt stil.

Helaas was na 17.00 uur het niet meer mogelijk om te eten of iets te drinken. Verder mas de maandag een rustdag en konden we ook niet ontbijten.

Bij aankomst niemand aanwezig, wel vriendelijk telefonisch geholpen. Ontbijt pas om half 9 en vervolgens kwam er om 9 uur iemand aan. Inrichting is gedateerd maar voor 1 nacht was dit prima.

Unieke warme en leuke ervaring!

Het ontbijt was top verzorgd en een behoorlijke portie. Eigenaresse en zoon weten precies wat een reiziger nodig heeft en voorzien je van alles. Locatie is voor wat je betaald echt super, direct aan water en zicht op de bergen.

Koffie of thee in onze kamer zou super zijn geweest.

Unfreundliche Gastgeber Es kam keine ordentliche Begrüßung. Kein Lächeln auf den Lippen - nichts! Um 16 Uhr wollten wir einen Kaffee trinken (Öffnungszeiten an der Türe bis 17 Uhr). Wir wurden direkt mit der Aussage „geschlossen“ abgewiesen. Die Uhrzeiten seien nicht korrekt, obwohl diese bereits handschriftlich geschrieben wurden. Der untere Teil des Maisonette Zimmers war extrem kalt. Essen ohne Schuhe im Zimmer war nicht möglich trotz laufender Heizung. Das wollten wir unserem Kind nicht antun. Der „Backofen“ ist ein 30 cm kleines Elektobackofen, indem 3 Brötchen reinlassen. Das Bett lieblos bezogen und zu unbequem. Von der „Schlafcouch“ möchte ich gar nicht erst reden! Nach der ersten Nacht (wir buchten zwei Nächte) haben wir freiwillig wieder ausgecheckt. Auch hier keine Nachfrage wieso um Feedback zu erhalten, nur ein einfaches „ok“.

Eine Woche gebucht und bezahlt - eine Nacht geblieben

Die Lage des Hauses direkt am See.

Bei unserer Ankunft war der erste Eindruck recht gedämpft. Entgegen der Ankündigung, dass ein Parkplatz vorhanden sei, mussten wir feststellen, dass dies nicht der Fall war. Einen Parkplatz mussten wir auf der oberen öffentlichen Straße suchen. Die FeWo selbst ist sehr verwohnt und diverse Mängel kamen nach und nach zum Vorschein. Die Türen innerhalb der Wohnung schließen allesamt nicht, ärgerlich insbesondere bei der Toilettentür, welche direkt an die Küche grenzt. Die Bettwäsche war aus Polyester, was in einer Ferienwohnung nicht gerade hygienisch ist. Sämtliche Reisverschlüsse waren kaputt. (Dies hat bereits in einer Bewertung Lutz im September 2023 erwähnt. Auch wurde dies, ebenso wie die nicht schließenden Türen von Gunter im Juni 2023 und von Marcel und Silvio im Oktober 2023 bemängelt.) Alles Dinge, die wohl schon länger defekt sind. Beim Versuch, die Küchenschublade zu öffnen, fiel uns diese samt Schrauben entgegen. Nach der ersten Nacht mussten wir feststellen, dass die Duschstange beim Versuch den Duschkopf wieder einzuhängen, völlig weggeknickt ist. Auch der Wasserhahn am Waschbecken wackelte, was auch Lutz im September 2023 bemängelte. Wir haben dann das Frühstück im Bistro eingenommen und danach den Vermieter gefragt, ob das Frühstück bei der Abreise zu zahlen sei. Daraufhin erklärte er, man habe schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht und würde deshalb sofort kassieren!!! Nach einem Ausflug mussten wir nach unserer Rückkehr feststellen, dass der Vermieter unsere Wohnung während unserer Abwesenheit betreten hat, da zwei Kopfkissen, welche unten im Kleiderschrank lagen, nicht mehr vorhanden waren. Wir haben daraufhin beschlossen, unsere Sachen zu packen und abzureisen. Den Schlüssel haben wir im Bistro abgegeben und unsere Abreise angekündigt. Wir können nun sagen, dass wir die schlechteste Erfahrung mit dieser Unterkunft gemacht haben. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist hier absolut desolat.

De host was niet vriendelijk en dacht totaal niet mee. We kregen het gevoel dat we het niet goed deden en kregen commentaar op dingen die we niet konden voorkomen. Het appartement was koud en onbehaaglijk. We hadden een plek in het restaurant gereserveerd maar uiteindelijk was het restaurant niet open?!!!

Mij zie je daar niet meer.

We hadden 2x een nachtje geboekt (niet aaneengesloten) en beide keren géén fijn ontvangst. In plaats van; ,,Hallo hoe is de reis gegaan, en heb je makkelijk kunnen vinden?", kregen we te horen dat we van te voren een tijd hadden moeten aangeven en het verkeerde nummer hadden gebeld. We leken hierbij geluk te hebben dat ze ons op al haar camera's zag om ons de sleutel te kunnen geven. Het voelde voor ons niet erg welkom en ze bleef ons een gevoel geven dat wij van alles niet goed doen. Rokers zijn al helemaal niet welkom, ondanks we geen rokers zijn kregen we toch alle verboden opgesomd. Met de auto konden wij er niet/ moeilijk komen en i.p.v. het ons even uit te leggen geeft ze aan wel ver geparkeerd te staan? De eerste avond was het brandmelder afgegaan omdat schijnbaar de batterij op was. Ook hier geeft de gastvrouw eerst aan dat wij niet aan deze brandmelder hadden mogen komen. En wat ons bezielde om de brandmelder van het plafond te hebben gehaald. Nou met een flikkerend licht boven je bed is het nou eenmaal niet fijn slapen, bij deze! Kortom een erg chagrijnige gastvrouw welke totaal niet mee denkt, kortaf is en erg wantrouwend overkomt. Het appartement zelf is erg koud (tegelvloer en hoog plafond) waardoor je niet behaaglijk kan zitten in de woonkamer, t.v. deed het niet en de w.c. zat los en liep af en toe water uit vanuit de stortbak. Hiernaast hadden wij gereserveerd voor het restaurant maar was er niemand te bekennen toen we aan de deur stonden van het restaurant? Met nu het 'goede' nummer te bellen nam ze niet meer op?

Die Unterkunft war dunkel nur ein Fenster im Schlafzimmer zu öffnen. Nur eine Steckdose im unteren Bereich, man muss den Backofen auf die Schuhablage stellen damit er an die Steckdose reicht. Der Kühlschrank war total vereist und ließ sich nicht regeln da der Knauf weg war. Im Bad wackelte die Duschstange der Wasserhahn der Klodeckel, der Heizkörper von Urin angefressen. Im Schlafzimmer waren die Reisverschlüsse der Bettwäsche kaputt,die Betten waren gut.
