Great location for accessing Sorrento and Herculaneum, close to the train and bus. Some really lovely local restaurants, cafes and gelaterias. Sorrento itself was quite busy, but Piano di Sorrento was lively without being as packed. Antonino the host was super-friendly and helpful, and suggested some great local establishments to visit.
The advantage of being right on the main road (Corso Italia) also has the disadvantage of lots of road noise; this was not a big deal for us but just something to make people aware of.
