Luxury Family Home in Jackal Creek Golf Estate with Backup Power

Comfortability, cleanliness, utensils were easily reachable

Shortage of tea cups, plates and glasses as we were 6 we had to wait for others to finish as we wanted to eat together in a table and those beautiful chairs

I liked everything about the place, the pool, braai area and lake view it was breath taking

Everything was exceptional,the images seen on app does nothing compared to when seeing the place,it is beautifully beautiful

None,all was perfect except communication wise regarding time for check out.it’s not the same as the time stipulated on the app when making booking

Security and location. Good space for family group. The place has a solar backup system for when there is load shedding but unfortunately on our stay it did not kick in automatically until host had to come and set it up. There is also a his job which is good for use especially when there is no electricity. There is a washing machine although we did not use it therefore cannot comment if it works . The resort/ estate is clean and well maintained.

On arrival first impression was good, but on a closer look It wasn’t clean enough. Lots of hairs in the living area and in the bathroom upstairs. Key locker box was detached from the wall which meant anyone could have carried it away. We had no internet for nearly 2 days, correspondence with host was good but unfortunately she was unable to help much which left us out of pocket as we had to pay for roaming, this also meant we couldn’t watch TV which was quite frustrating for the kids. When finally we got internet the TV suddenly stopped working 😞. We had issues with lights in two bedrooms which would spontaneously come on in the night. The headboards of the beds are not attached so when you move they make a banging sound. There is a coding system for security purposes at the main gate entrance but it’s was not well explained and chaotic as we were told a few different statements by the security man at the gate, it was particularly stressful if you wanted to walk out of the premises as a group, it better by car as you only need 1 code.
