We loved everything about Mas des Carlines. A beautifully restored 12th century former Templars center staffed by a master of the art of hospitality. She instinctively knows what the weary traveller needs and appears with a refreshing glass of a lovely white (or red) wine. Take advantage of the dinner offered as Lodeve means another drive back into town where everything is likely closed anyway and what's offered is better than what would be found in a restaurant.
