Nidi's Nest

First the "Host" she was too welcoming.The apartment was above our expectation and it was worth for that price with all that facilitates, I have stayed lot of places across Kerala but within this price range this was the best stay.About the location if you are looking for a place which is near to the city but away from the bustling city this is a perfect option .

Nothing to mention as a negative, but little more utensils could be there in the kitchen

It was very homely and neat.The owner aunty was so sweet and helpful .

The location is easily accessible, nearby to Kovalam. The bedroom, hall, kitchen and bathroom - all were neat and clean. Super satisfied with the stay.

The property is a fully furnished 1BHK apartment nestled amongst trees on the first floor. The ground floor is occupied by a permanent tenant but the hostess lives nearby. The apartment had everything to make the stay comfortable from a good dining area to an operable kitchen with all utensils and a working refrigerator. One can cook his own food and doesn't need to order food from outside which is an easy option here. Right from the moment we arrived the hostess Nidhi made us feel very comfortable. She was very courteous and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. She visited multiple times and had made food arrangements for our baby on the first day we arrived. She even courteously sent additional food on the second day when we couldn't order food due to a hartal. The tenants living in the ground floor are very courteous and kind as well. The road where one can take public transportation is less than 100 meters and one can take an uber or auto which are easily available.

There was an infestation of ants in the apartment and something we raised an alarm about multiple times since we were traveling with an infant baby but the hostess was very quick to address that within minutes. Also due to a festival the speaker at the main road was constantly blaring loud music during the night as well which seemend unacceptable. Obviously this wasn't the hosts fault but should be considered when traveling during festival seasons. The location is a bit far from the Kovalam beach area but very close to Kovalam art and crafts village.
