Leddicott Cottage

Quiet, peaceful & private location. The fireplace kept the cottage warm all night. Loved all the birds ... finches, crimson rosellas & even a peacock! Easy driving distance to all local attractions.

Microfibre sheets ... for nightly tariff $300+, we would expect hotel quality cotton or linen. The microwave was located on the bottom shelf of the cupboard under the sink.

The whole experience / stay was wonderful. We arrive late around 10pm it was very dark , would like to suggest maybe some Sola lights at the gate entrance. The inside was wonderful, my husband loved the soaking bath , beautiful added touch that there was bath salts provided. Loved the Nespresso coffee machine & fireplace. Just a suggestion but electric blanket on the bed would have been wonderful as the fire took a while to heat up the place, we arrived in the rain, so felt a bit damp. can't wait to stay again.

Great location near everything in Olinda. The hosts were lovely and very helpful and responsive.

It was super cold in winter - the hosts dropped off an additional heater and slippers which was really kind of them! But nevertheless the cottage is absolutely freezing, zero sunlight which gives a gloomy feel and a bit damp smelling. It would probably be ok in summer though! One wall unit isn’t enough to keep the home warm and the fire didn’t throw out that much heat. Very aware aussie homes have poor insulation but this little cottage is especially cold.
