Our family had a fantastic time during our short vacation! The apartment was absolutely perfect for us. Ideal Location: Everything was within easy walking distance. We were just a short stroll away from the beach, the port, the historic Sqala, and Moulay Hassan Square. Incredible Food Nearby: We loved being so close to the fish market, where we enjoyed a truly spectacular meal. Beautiful Atmosphere: The apartment gets perfect natural daylight, making it feel bright and welcoming. Waking up to the sound of the seagulls was a charming and authentic Essaouira experience. Wonderful Host: Abderahim was an exceptional host. He was incredibly helpful, approachable, supportive, and went out of his way to make our stay great. Highly recommended for a family getaway!

A few minor things to keep in mind, though they didn't ruin our stay: Nighttime Noise::There was some noise from men loading things on the street below around midnight. Closing the windows helped a bit to block it out. Accessibility: The apartment is on the second floor with no elevator. Anyone with mobility or health issues might find the stairs a bit tricky. The Wind & Sand: The wind brings a lot of sand into the area. This has nothing to do with the apartment itself—it's just the typical weather in Essaouira—but it's something to bear in mind when visiting! Compact Bathroom: The bathroom is on the smaller side, but it definitely did the job for our stay.

Really nice stay. The host was fantastic. Great location right in the cool part of the Medina. The location was very central but quiet, down a side street. Everything you need is close by, within a couple of minutes walk. We came to Essaouira for the start of our trip from the south of Morocco up to the north. Instead, we changed the entire trip and ended up staying in Essaouira for the whole 2 weeks because we loved it there so much!
