Great location. Unbelievably comfortable beds. All the amenities. Cosy over a freezing, wet weekend.

Couches need a reupholster (or replacement). Could do with bigger towels. Nothing major.

Rooms were spacious and rose garden was in full bloom. The property suited our need for a week long base to attend an event in town. Bathrooms were particularly modern.

Previous reviews warned of noisy traffic, so that did not come as a surprise ... generally quiet enough during sleeping hours. A few minor maintenance issues reared their head as our stay progressed.

Broken tap in kitchen Toilet seat in main bathroom not stable to sit on Bedroom doors don’t close properly Very old lounge too low to get out of Chairs at kitchen table rickety and uncomfortable to sit on Lots of traffic noise We booked the property as pet friendly as originally advertised on Booking.com ( now changed to no pets) and were contacted to pay an additional fee despite having paid the entire stay months earlier. We were told there was lots of additional cleaning because of our dog. The house rules stated that dogs could be inside provided they were not on furniture and could not stay in the house alone which we adhered to. Our dog slept in her bed in the laundry and lay on her blankets in the main area of the house when we were home. Upon checking out we cleaned sinks emptied bins ensured the yard was clean and dishes in dishwasher and used towels in bath. We were disappointed to be contacted for an extra fee after leaving given that everything was left clean and tidy and in good order apart from some dog hair on the floor which would need to be cleaned as a matter of course between tenants.
