Super miejsce do spędzenia ze znajomymi

We liked that the location is in a quiet and peaceful place, away from the tourist crowds, yet the local attractions in the area are only a short distance away. We also liked how sensitively the owners have restored this 'drevenica' and their love of traditional, reflected in the interior finishes and decorations. We really felt this was a home away from home. Oh and for nature lovers there is a bonus of resident storks in the village during the spring and summer season, and kingfishers on the river outside the house. The area around Matiasovce is beautiful, the viewpoint above the village is well worth a visit.

As a family with 4 kids who get through lots of clothes we would have liked to have a use of a washing machine, but I appreciate that washing machines aren't commonly a standard in self-catering accommodation in Slovakia. It didn't come as a surprise as washing machine isn't listed as one of the facilities, so it's less of 'what we didn't like' and more of a 'would be nice to have' for 100/100 experience.
