We loved that it was right next to the beach, just a short walk down a path. Also loved that this apartment is right by the parking lot, easy access to and from. The decor was lovely and exactly what we would expect near the beach, beach themed with shells and sea creatures. The kitchen was well-stocked with appliances, cookware, bakeware, silverware, and dinner service. I really appreciated the homey feel, with extra blankets and beach towels, and even some beach chairs and toys. The small bars of soap were just right for the bathroom to wash hands and bathe. It is so nice that there is a TV with HDMI capabilities in the living room and each bedroom. I love that I can cook and see into the living room simultaneously. I loved that there were several dish towels and dishrags available. Some places only have one, and that is not enough. Great set-up. Also loved the luggage stands to place our bags for easy unpacking. Having our own laundry room was amazing, and extra great that it was outside the house, because those dryers really heat up the house when turned on. The balcony and sliding glass doors were so wonderful and the AC works great. The check-in and check-out instructions were clear and the wifi worked great.

The beach access gate got stuck and wouldn't open upon entering the code. The property owner contacted the manager and said they would do something and offered suggestions on how to still get back from the beach and not get locked out. The main light in the bedroom that has two twin beds does not work. The pull chain cannot be pulled. The alcove light and plug-in lamp worked fine, but it was a little dark at night. It would be good to repair that. Also the door latch got stuck in the open position and I couldn't keep the door closed after the first three days, except by putting something behind it. The hall bathroom door sticks in the upper right corner, a little hard to get out sometimes, I know it's because wood expands in summer. But it might be worth trying to fix. Sometimes I had to yank quite hard and it was loud when it opened.
