Spacious luxury apartment with parking KB

The apartment is located in a very modern area on the other side of the river. At first we thought it would be too far out but we downloaded a Bolt app and that gave us a ride to the city for Euro 4.60 and made it very easy. A walk to the Town Hall is a good 35 minutes. We very much enjoyed the proximity to the river and the white bridge vicinity, where you find Baltas Tiltas, a food court with plenty of different food offerings, a skate park, table tennis, exercise equipment, basketball courts and break dance floor. Just beautiful to sit outside on a summer evening, be part of the community and enjoy all the entertainment. Opposite the front door is a very good Pizzeria and 5 minute walk takes you to bon brioche a very nice little cafe that also serves breakfast. Bikes are for rent nearby on the other side of white bridge. The apartment itself is on the 6th floor, very modern and ticks all the boxes. The owner was very helpful and our super short notice booking went without a hitch. Garage parking is very convenient and easy. The apartment has aircondition but only in the living room. Luckily it also cooles down the bedroom even during the very hot week we were there.

The kitchen is sparsly equiped and cooking would be a challenge. It would be nice to have some dishwashing tablets and kitchen towels. It did not effect us as we discovered Baltas Tiltas and that took care of our dinners for a week in a very good way. What we missed were bedside table lamps for reading. All in all a very enjoyable stay with lots of nice surprises in a non-touristy area. Thank you to our landlord for pointing them out to us.
