Magnificent apartment with garden on the beach

A beautiful location very close to the beach and a 25-minute walk from Menton. Nice, Menton, Èze, etc., were all less than a 45-minute drive away. The apartment is situated in a lively area with restaurants and a dog-friendly beach nearby. It was also nice that there was a large garden (with a fence if you’re bringing your dog). The host was also friendly and responded quickly. The description says there’s no parking, but there are paid parking spots right in front of the apartment—though you sometimes have to get lucky to find one available. We hadn’t expected this, so it’s really nice that you can park your car nearby (though we wouldn’t recommend leaving it there all day—the cost can quickly add up to around twenty euros).

Everything was good, except for a few minor things: the curtains let in a lot of light (which is especially unpleasant if you’re a light sleeper), there wasn’t quite enough cutlery, the apartment is a bit small for 7 people, it was very hot without air conditioning, and there were a lot of mosquitoes—though, of course, the host can’t do anything about that.

Sicuramente la disposizione delle stanze ed il grande giardino, anche il vantaggio di avere un doppio bagno è una cosa da non sottovalutare.

Se devo fare un appunto segnalerei che la pulizia degli spazi interni potrebbe essere anche migliore (questo non vuol dire che sia molto sporco) potrebbe essere fornito un piccolo kit doccia (negli altri appartamenti lo abbiamo sempre trovato) e consiglierei, se possibile con le regole del condominio, dotare il giardino di una piccola griglia per cuocere carne o pesce.

Mancava l'aria condizionata, il giardino ha bisogno di un po di cure, e fuori non potevi stare, per le zanzare.
