Boogas House - Gdańsk

So this is a very small hostel with one dorm only and seven beds. However every cubicle is fit with a big mattress and bed and really useful shelving and hooks. Generally the pictures are true to actual hostel and this has one of the coolest interiors I've seen so far. The common areas are a living room, free to use kitchen and laundry and a working space. The wifi was good enough for me and it was surprisingly clean. Two minutes away is a train station and you're in the city center within 15 minutes. The area felt safe and was quiet at night. Would definitely book again! I enjoyed my stay :)

For all female solo travellers: the staircase that leads to the apartment is really scary but do trust that you're not getting scammed! Also there is no staff in the hostel to welcome you or check you in as it is rather small and more of a shared living space.

Awsome place, great value for money. Communication issues from staff.

My bunk was not ready from check-in time. Poor communication from staff, but problem was eventually figured out. I don't mind delays, but it has to be communicated correctly.

20 minute walk from Gdansk central station. Tram stop 5 minutes. Walk around the side of the building to entrance. This is what hostels should be like. Exceeded my expectations. Massive (clean) beds, with curtains for privacy including power and light. Fully equipped kitchen, satellite TV. Very relaxing after a day sightseeing.

Not so many shops and restaurants close by, but I would stay here again with no hesitation.

In principle good, but misses the concept as pointed out previously. I would like to say 10/10 for the kind cleaning lady, she really is a joy to be around. She came once a week, but always cleaned very thoroughly.
