We stayed in Apartment 71. One bedroom with kitchenette including washing machine and basic kitchen essentials. The biggest strength of Apartment 71 is its excellent location. Situated in the heart of Sukhumvit Soi 13, it is within easy walking distance of restaurants, cafés, convenience stores and both the BTS and MRT, making it a convenient base for exploring Bangkok. We also appreciated having a kitchenette with basic cooking essentials and a washing machine, which are particularly useful for longer stays. Overall, the apartment provided the practical facilities we needed and represented a functional option for travellers wanting to stay in a central location.

We always make a genuine effort to provide balanced and fair reviews throughout our full-time travels, highlighting both the positives and any areas that future travellers should be aware of. In this case, there are two points worth mentioning. 1. The bed is extremely firm. Mattress comfort is subjective, but we found this to be one of the firmest beds we've encountered during our travels. If you prefer a softer or medium-firm mattress, this is something to consider, as we found it significantly impacted our quality of sleep. 2. The advertised balcony is not really usable. While the apartment description is technically correct in stating that it has a balcony, in practical terms it isn't a functional outdoor space. As shown in our photos, the balcony is extremely limited in usability, and the outlook is directly onto an unattractive, unfinished, neighbouring building. The view itself is, of course, beyond the host's control, but we do feel the listing could better manage guests' expectations by providing a more accurate representation of the balcony and what they can realistically expect when booking.

The room was located in a very nice apartment building in a good area, short walk to Nana plaza, nightlife, restaurants and bts, but it was also quiet, at the end of the alley. Many convenience stores around. The room itself was clean and smelled great. Comfy bed, washer machine. It is not a big place but it's super cozy and has everything you need, very convenient. Host is very kind and helpful. The pool was really lovely and we spent a lot of time there. There is also a back exit to the canal which has a local ferry boat for more transportation options. The back exit might not be too obvious to be found, simply ask the guard. Overall a great place to stay, absolutely recommended.
