Dennys Apartment City Center Duplex

Great location for this duplex in Tirana ! In addition to all the amenities (the air conditioning was very welcome during our stay !), everything you might need is less than 2 minutes away (supermarket, bakery, pharmacy, various restaurants), and the main tourist sites are just 5 minutes away. The communication with the owner was very easy. Overall, it was a fantastic stay

The location of this property is by far the best! The host was great. If I needed anything or help, they were quick to respond. We were travelling for 3 nights and everything you need for a short trip, was readily available. There is a supermarket downstairs that is open 24 hours. A friendly cat who is absolutely adorable, who strolls outside the supermarket. I will be returning to Albania and this may now be my go to place in the city central. Thank you Denny!

As a woman who is a little vain, not enough mirrors. Me and my daughter were fighting over the single bathroom mirror. Nevertheless there really aren’t much cons to be honest.

Good points The apartment is in an excellent location and very central in Tirana. The apartment is also been decorated modernly and is furnished nicely, so it's quite aesthetic. Host is very prompt with responses and polite.

The upstairs sleeping area with the single bed has an extremely low ceiling, meaning anyone over around 5 feet tall needs to duck to access the bed, which makes the space quite impractical. Cleanliness was disappointing. There was food left in the microwave from previous guests, and the bathroom was not cleaned to an acceptable standard. During our four-day stay, there was no housekeeping service to refresh bedding or clean the bathroom. The blankets also appeared not to have been washed between guests, as they had an unpleasant musty smell. At the end of our stay, I saw cleaners collecting used laundry, but the blankets we had been using were not taken for cleaning - confirming my suspicions! The facilities were not adequately prepared for the length of our stay. We were provided with only two small toilet rolls for four days and had to purchase additional supplies ourselves. The ironing board was broken, the shower had very weak water pressure and leaked, and there was also a leaking boiler in the bathroom. In addition, we were given only one towel per person for the entire stay and had to contact the host to request extra towels. Noise was also an issue, particularly late at night and early in the morning, as neighbouring properties could be clearly heard from outside.
