Prime Soho 3-Bedroom Apartment Steps from Piccadilly and Chinatown! No Lift 3GH

Location was excellent. Close to the picadilly line and many wonderful restaurants! Nice to have multiple grocery stores nearby as well. The beds were comfortable. Very spacious with two nice showers. The heat worked great! It was very quiet. Also, nice to have a washer/dryer combo.

No drying rack for dishes. Difficult to manage dishwashing with only one dish towel and no drying rack. The water heater did not provide a sufficient amount of hot water given the apartment’s capacity. Had to really space out showers as there was only about 15 min of warm water.

Couldn’t believe how close to everything we were. In the doorstep of China Town, Piccadilly Circus, Green Park I could go on! The apartment was huge. We were very happy for size and location for this price!

The location of this property is excellent. In the heart of London, within walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. We had plenty of space and felt really safe. We will definitely return. Highly recommend.

We had an issue upon arrival We had been sent the wrong access code for the lock box and struggled to contact the owner. As soon as we managed to contact the owner, who was very responsive, the issue was resolved.

Excellent location and the apartment is spacious, which we loved.

Apartment 3 is on the 3rd floor via steep narrow stairways (plural). Not suitable for anyone with large suitcases and/or multiple suitcases (like travellers from the other side of the world) or elderly people - very difficult. These crucial details are not disclosed in the property listing or email communications - were only told 'no lift'. The absence of a lift/elevator was considered ok but had we known about the steep narrow stairs we would not have stayed here. Noisy at night on street below and during early mornings with the current renovations on building opposite. Three separate people knocked on the kitchen door wanting to do money transfers (the business was located on the floor below) - this got annoying. Cannot move in the ensuite - too small. The red/blue colours on the kitchen sink tap are the wrong way round. Turn the tap to blue and you get hot water and vice versa. The plug in the kitchen sink is broken so we had to stuff a rag into the sinkhole to fill the sink to wash dishes. This made us wonder how the previous guests managed to properly wash glasses plates cutlery etc. Well after inspection, they were not! We had to rewash everything. No instructions to work the washer/dryer - washed clothes ok but would not go into dry cycle. Very basic tea coffee... only 4 pods for coffee machine for 5 night stay and 3 people. No milk. No sugar. No teaspoons. Quite lacking on the special touches expected of this type of accommodation. Toilet seat is not the correct fit in main bathroom/shower room. Doonas / duvets in massively oversized covers meant they got caught up rolled into a ball inside the cover when sleeping. The price of this apartment is compatible to other accommodation in this area but the above issues that can be fixed/changed should be to warrant paying this cost.
