About this house rental

Welcome to The Muse – our newly redesigned Mid-Century Modern home nestled on a quiet side street in the heart of downtown Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Whether you’re visiting for a romantic escape, a family trip, or a weekend with friends, The Muse is a perfect starting point for exploring all the town has to offer. From morning coffee to afternoon shopping and evening cocktails, everything you need for a perfect day in Niagara On The Lake is just a short walk from your doorstep.

(***NOTE: we are unfortunately not able to accommodate any animals, including service animals, due to serious allergies in the family.)

This cozy, character-filled home is owned and personally managed by a local family with years of hosting experience. It features three thoughtfully designed bedrooms equipped with darkening shades for a restful sleep (a Queen on the main floor, plus a Queen and a Twin upstairs) and one full bathroom. The eat-in kitchen was fully renovated in 2025, and all the furniture is brand new, blending modern comfort with mid-century charm.
The original 1948 hardwood floors have been newly refinished, but they do squeak due to the home’s vintage character.

Guests have exclusive use of the entire 1000 sq ft detached home with a peaceful backyard surrounded by mature trees for added privacy.
The private driveway accommodates two large or three small cars. The driveway and the front entrance are monitored by a security camera.
***The town of Niagara On The Lake bylaws require all visitors to register their vehicle information as well as home addresses and phone numbers. We will provide you with registration forms prior to or during check-in.

Our guests check themselves in with a keypad lock and we are always available to chat and answer questions about the property or the area. We live nearby and any potential issues are addressed immediately.

We had a delightful stay at this cute little house for 3 nights with our two teenaged kids. What we loved:-The house itself is adorable and well decorated-Kitchen is ample, and though we didn't cook, it was very well outfitted and we wanted for nothing-SO many cute little touches. Coffee, cream, sugar, honey for morning. Cold water bottles in the fridge. Throw blankets for movie night. Tons of extra towels. Board games (we had a fun little game night-Close walk to the town and shops-Back yard is ample and well maintained-Enough space for us all to have room away from each other for quiet time (essential with teens)-The hosts were kind and you could tell they were real people (not a bot) responding who truly cared about your experience. What would make this place next level:-The air conditioning does not reach the upper two bedrooms very well and they do get hot. I ensured the kids closed the curtains during the day, and we angled the fans for flow, but it was still hot. It only got to 25 while we were there but in 31 degree heat it could be a problem.
