About this cabin rental

Nestled on a peninsula in the Upper Laurentians. This little haven of peace invites your whole family to embrace a moment of calm, relaxation and mindfulness.
The space
"Ladouceur du Lac" is a beautiful lake-front cabin that will let you speechless as soon as you walk-in.
All the main rooms offer one of the most breathtaking lake view (kitchen, leaving room and dinning room). Upstairs both bedrooms have access to the balcony facing the lake, offering you a peaceful place to unwind.

On the main floor, an additional room with a desk and an a full bed is the perfect dedicated workplace, allowing you to enjoy the cabin even longer!
The cabin will welcome your entire family, including your beloving pets.
The cottage sits on just under 3 acres of wooded property to enjoy all year along.
In the summer, you can enjoy over 100 kms of navigable water for fishing and water sports. In the winter, there is plenty of snowmobile trails nearby.
The cottage is located 1.5 hours from Ottawa, 30 min from Mont-Laurier. If you like hiking with breathtaking views, the Little Beaver hiking trail is only at 10 mins, and the Parc du Poisson Blanc is at 30 mins.

This tranquil lake house offers exactly what you need: a peaceful secluded gateway to disconnect completely.
Guest access
The perfect place to enjoy what a waterfront property has to offer. Guests have direct access to Camp Lake with a large, beautiful dock for jumping in or mooring your boat. Canoes, kayaks and pedal boats are available to take full advantage of the 150 km of waterways for fishing, swimming or simply relaxing. You can explore the many small islands across the lake and access many others: Dudley Lake, Lac aux Foins, Lac des Sables, Campion Lake and even the magnificent Poisson Blanc reservoir!
Motorboats are launched from the public boat launch in the village of Notre-Dame-de-Pontmain, just after the bridge in front of the village church. It's located 8 minutes from the chalet, opposite the village church, on Route 309. Afterwards, our dock can safely accommodate your boat. Please note that the dock is accessible from June to September due to fluctuating water levels.
When the water level is low, it reveals a 200-foot-long beach that you can enjoy with your family and furry friends. We encourage our visitors to make the most of their visit while respecting nature and soundings.
Other things to note
"Ladouceur du lac" is a 4-season chalet that lets you disconnect in peaceful surroundings, even in winter. The beauty of the view of the frozen lake is unparalleled. Plenty of activities such as skating, ice fishing, snowmobiling (close access to circuits), snowshoeing and much more. In the evening, enjoy the warmth of the open-concept living room with its magnificent wood-burning fireplace (wood included with rental).
