'Russet' Hut on fruit farm

Location is really nice. Facilities great. Loved the woodburner and the fire pit (we were never cold and it was definitely chilly outside). Tub is a cool feature too. We had a fantastic couple of days, quiet and relaxing. Thank you for the delicious apple juice! Looking forward to returning when the weather is warmer.

An electric kettle maybe and also some of the little things could be updated (chopping board, linens, this sort of things). That being said, these are minor improvements only.

The attention to detail with this property is unmatched. Everything has been thought of like previous reviews mention. The location is private & safe. The hut has an amazing shower with hot water. A proper kitchen with utensils including an induction job, we enjoyed using this for part of our cooking. A lovely little fireplace inside the hut as well as a fire pit outside the hut which we used both nights to cook our dinners and toast marshmallows. The bed has a window directly infront of it, so each morning we put the blinds up to sit and lay in bed with the beautiful countryside views infront of us. The radio in the hut was a perfect touch, we loved having this on whilst cooking dinners by the fire. We especially loved the outdoor bath, it was the perfect way to relax and we were fortunate enough to have pure sunshine one of the mornings, so I sat and had a cup of tea and read a book in it, was bliss. We brought all our own food and there is small a fridge and freezer in the hut which was perfect to store this. The decoration of the hut and the finishing touches are what sets it apart from others. We stayed in Russet which had a tranquil little river next to it, and we enjoyed a really nice evening walk around the fields outside of it. We couldn’t have wished for a better stay, I mentioned it was our anniversary and upon arrival there was a really sweet ‘happy anniversary’ sign with complimentary Prosecco. Such a nice touch! There wasn't any breakfast included but apple juice was lovely. The space is finished to a very high standard and is a very nice colour. Very peaceful setting. Clear instructions to get there. Comfortable and warm. Fairy lights would be a nice addition and a handrail for the outside steps.

There was no kindling for fire lighting No coffee or shampoo available even though they were mentioned The hob was tricky to work and needed more instructions to operate. We finally managed to "unlock" it and boil water but not being used to an induction hob meant we didn't really know what we were doing.
