This little gem was tucked between 2 pretty fancy properties right on the main strip. The owner of property manager Michael was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I was unable to get cash due to my bank card being stolen in the first part of my trip in Costa Rica and Michael was kind enough to advance me some colonist to use while in Manuel Antonio. He went above and beyond

The breakfast was nice - there wasn’t a choice but because it was very nice, this didn’t bother us. The tour was great, it was the main reason for our booking and it didn’t disappoint.
Room and hotel in general were a bit tired - there was an old mattress dumped around the corner from our room. It could do with a bit of a TLC to restore it. The bed and pillows weren’t the most uncomfortable. Also, would be nice to supply fresh milk instead of powdered milk for breakfast coffee.

Breakfast was delicious! The view was stellar. Our room was just as expected.
We were told of a free tour at Manuel Antonio NP, but the guide was on vacation when we got to the park and we had to pay for a tour. This was a one off situation I am sure, but it could have been communicated better so we didn't get our hopes up.
Parking is on the side of the busy road road in front of the hotel. It was not in a secure lot, as expected.

Very good location, Michael (the owner) was super nice and helpful (he suggested a lot of restaurants and made us save tons of money on tours)
Very dusty, moldy bathroom, very old furniture, many electrical hazards (many plugs exposed), improvised shower, badly maintained garden
