1st Floor Sanibel Island Condo Steps From The Gulf Of Mexico 5C1

Very clean inside. Must have been recently remodeled because it was all updated. 1st floor was great, easy to get to beach or pool with child. Pool was heated and great. We went in October so it was not very busy which we enjoyed. TVs in every room was a plus. Had 2 bathrooms, 1 with a shower and 1 with a tub for our child. Easy assigned parking right outside the condo. Check in process was easy. Loved there were beach chairs and umbrellas available. I had a few things during our stay, like someone parked in our spot and they were attended to right away. Liked that there was someone we could contact at any point easily had anything gone wrong. Not related to the condo itself but the beaches in sanibel are awesome! Despite the “no see ums” (biting flies). Avoid dawn and dusk on the beach especially or bring bug spray! And bring some anti-itch cream for when they eventually get ya!

The beds were uncomfortable, and loud. If you toss and turn in your sleep they made quite a ruckus. Potentially from either the sheets or a waterproof cover they had on. All the beds were pretty hard, had to go out to the couch in the middle of the night because my back was aching so bad. Few small things, microwave turntable didn’t fit and kept almost falling out. Kitchen trashcan was miniature. One of the beach umbrellas was broken and unusable. Bathrooms were a little small but still usable. Check in and out times seemed a little excessive compared to other stays, they were 4pm and 10am with the option to PAY for a potential early check in at 2pm or checkout at 11am which would be $50 additional. The “prior to leaving” details have you doing pretty much all the grunt work so surely it doesn’t take 6 hours to turn this place over based off the size, but I’d give them the benefit of doubt on that. May just be another grab at additional money, if so, I dislike it. I’d rather have an additional $100 on my booking total and have a more reasonable check in and check out time
