Sunset View Rooftop Apartment, Walk to Adamas Center

The location and rooftop was everything! So close to the port, supermarket and restaurants. The rooftop was incredible for sundowners or your morning coffee!

The kitchen lacked a few things like a bottle opener and a sharp knife for some morning fruit. The coffee machine also didn’t work but not the end of the world.

Location: walk to - Zygos restaurant- 1 minute - waterfront restaurants/ cafes- 5 minutes - supermarket- 10 minutes - port - 15 minutes - very quiet location A/c - worked well Laundry facilities were good Bedroom size reasonable / lounge room was reasonable size Bed- a firm bed which we liked. Very flat pillows and only one each. Rooftop seating- this was a communal space and was excellent. Generally we were the only people there, although a lovely friendly gentleman would occasionally pop in with his cat, but when he saw us there he didn’t want to stay and intrude, which was very considerate of him.

Facilities- this apartment catered for 4 people, but there were only 3 knives and 3 spoons. There was no sharp knife so this made it very difficult to cut fruit and vegetables with a bread and butter knife. There were no wine glasses or corkscrew. I did ask the accommodation agent for this but never received a reply. Room servicing- I noticed in other reviews about room servicing but we didn’t receive this during our 7 days stay, although we didn’t expect it either. It would have been good to have had a broom, dust pan and brush to sweep the floors though.

Athena’s apartment was the perfect choice for a group with two bedrooms and a fold out couch. It was very clean and practical with everything you need for your stay. The rooftop was an absolute highlight with views of the ocean and Milos, and every room had a small balcony which was a bonus. Walking distance to town, supermarket and restaurants.

The apartment could do with some basic essentials eg. salt, pepper, oil as it has cooking facilities, and some extra sheets for the fold out couch would be nice. The wifi was very unreliable.
