Simon was heel gastvrij, prachtig domein, lekker ontbijt op idyllische plaats en een leuk ingerichte kamer! Mooie uitvalsbasis voor uitstapjes naar Tours of Parc du mini Châteaux. Hadden graag wat langer gebleven om te genieten van de prachtige tuin 😉

Een waterkoker in de kamer voor thee (of opwarmen water voor flesjes voor de baby) zou een handige toevoeging kunnen zijn aan de kamer. Maar wij hadden een heel fijn verblijf!

Cadre très agréable, maison et environnement superbe. En été on doit beaucoup apprécier le jardin, ce week-end il faisait un peu trop froid. Régina la très sympathique maitresse de maison a été très à l'écoute et flexible quant à notre arrivée sur site

Beautiful rooms and big garden.

The room was blessedly cool. The courtyard and surroundings were beautiful. The parking was secure. The bath and hot water were good.

We arrived (hot and bothered) during our agreed check in time, but there was nobody there to greet us, so we had to wait for someone to arrive - and when they did they had a large, barking, dog with them. Unfortunately we didn't get the room I booked - I had booked an apartment, complete with kitchen, but the host said the booking.com platform was to blame for the confusion and that we were only ever going to have an en-suite bedroom. I understand that issues occur, but I would have appreciated some communication or acknowledgement from the host, just to manage my expectations or understand my disappointment. I booked several months in advance. The room was large and cool, for which we were very grateful, and the bedding was clean but the rest of the room felt neglected - dusty and cobwebby, the 'fresh' flowers had died and the light switches were really dirty. Breakfast was a small amount of bread, preserves, and tea/coffee - even the jug of hot water for the tea had a cobweb on it! An all-round disappointing stay, poor value for money, poor communication, poor service, such a shame.
